Kaloust Guedel On The Cover of New American Paintings 15th Anniversary Edition

Not so long ago, one of his Blue Canvas peers informed him that he has seen his work on the cover of New American Paintings of 15th Anniversary Edition. Guedel explains: Selection of my work for the cover from about 200 accomplished American artists was unbelievable to me. Finally I got my copy and the long wait came to finality. To me as an artist, this kind of small but significant events make life interesting and exiting. In conjunction of two other books by MOT, a British publisher: Masters of Today and Trends  has generated tremendous publicity for the artist. As an evidence, his name is being googled throughout the word and interview requests are pouring in.  Since then thousands of visitors have visited his site  and joined with him in celebration. Other then creating art, Kaloust Guedel is active in curating art exhibitions.
One of his curated shows is in H. Kazan Fine Arts titled Objects Are Forever. An exhibition featuring the work of five innovative and accomplished Los Angeles area artists, working in a variety of media, but specifically using objects as the preferred medium to communicate their artistic philosophy. Participating artists are: Betty Bairamian, Ursula Kammer-Fox, David Jang, Joyce Kohl and Nancy Kyes.
The next exhibition he is working on, will be exhibited at Asto Museum of Art with title Carnalistic Initiative will bring together about 30 artists using human form/body as preferred subject, as an acknowledgment of an art moment that has been in existence, but never before have brought together as a group. The exhibition is scheduled to open on September 11th, 2010.
